Those cute new One Sole shoes we told you about are now in stock! Plus, find new spring colors of everyone’s favorite pants–the CP Shades Wendy–including apple green and powder blue.

We are proud to announce that The Straw Hat of Leeds will participate in the upcoming Cancer Relay for Life. Our participation will involve two very special events. They are:

On Saturday, April 26th, we will have a fun day and invite all of you to participate. Pamela Mason will be here to represent Bailey Morgan jewelry designs. She will have lots of exciting new designs from his latest collection. Refreshments will be aplenty. We will donate 20% of our total sales for that day to the American Cancer Society. We hope you will participate also.

And on the night of Friday, May 2nd we will join other teams at Moody High School for the annual Relay for Life walk. We need team members. We will be there from 6:00 until 9:00 and need for you to join us on that evening. We will provide the food, so ya’ll come.

We are pleased to host these events in honor of our sweet friends and customers who are cancer survivors, the most courageous women we know. So, we intend to honor Nancy Atkins, Trish Donaldson, Charlotte Keith and Kathy Dutton. Unfortunately, there are few families that have been untouched by this disease. We hope you will join us in this worthy cause.

We are excited to announce that by popular demand (you may hold your applause until the end) One Sole brand shoes will soon be arriving at The Straw Hat.  If you are unfamiliar, this a line invented by a pharmacist who stood every day for long hours.  Oh, how she yearned for a comfortable, yet fashionable shoe.   Her invention was so popular she is extremely rich now and never has to work again.  But back to the shoes, one selects a sole of her choice: flat, wedge or stacked heel, and then simply attaches the top to match her outfit that day.   They are darling, with a bigillion of tops to select from–you can even get Auburn or Alabama or your favorite school.  Isn’t it exciting to know that we can now pack, not have to leave out our underwear, just to make room for one more pair of shoes.   Arriving soon…

And, back by popular demand will soon be the Spanx Power Panties.  We know we let you down in more ways than one by not having them here sooner.   PLUS, we have ordered the new BRA-LLELUJAH made by Spanx.  This bra is super comfortable and has gotten all us girls in a frenzy.  If you don’t believe me, just ask Oprah.
